My method, presented in The End of Try Try Again and the Action Workbook, is designed to be self-directed.  You get to call the shots, and go through the program at your own pace. 

If you would like guidance and support through the process presented, I offer one-on-one coaching.  It can be a great addition to your toolbox!  You can get your questions answered, and sticking points addressed. 

Do you need to have read the books?  No!  They give you a head start on the program and process, but it is not necessary.  You can still gain from one-on-one personal coaching. 

My Approach

One-on-one coaching gives you the opportunity to choose the best way for you to reach your goals.  We find out what your life is like, what your preferences are, and why you want to make some healthy changes. 

My coaching gives you biweekly calls (Zoom or phone) as well as reminders during the week to keep you accountable.  We work together to overcome obstacles that life throws at you, as well as sticking points that you may have in your relationships with food and exercise. 

The focus in entirely on you and what strategies and skills will be the most impactful and long-lasting for you. In addition, you will have my expertise and knowledge base to help you make the right choices for your health. Making change is a process, and a transition.  We are here to help you make the lasting changes you desire.   

How Are My Programs Structured?

  • Zoom or phone interaction every two weeks, with homework.
  • Handouts as appropriate.
  • Text reminders weekly.
  • No hype or complicated programs to figure out.
  • Free 20-minute exploratory phone call to see if this is a good fit for you.
  • Free 60-minute intake phone call before getting started.

Coaching FAQs

NO!  But it will give you a distinct advantage because you will be familiar with the concepts that the coaching is based on.  That will save time in the long run. 

My programs are designed to keep you engaged for at least twelve weeks.  This is optimal because you will have an extended period of time to cover many issues. The objective is to create a solid base for you to rely on as you move forward. 

My coaching program is designed to work around those issues.  It does not attempt to treat them.  That is up to a medical professional. 

There is no specific exercise requirement in this program.  Each person’s abilities, preferences, and schedules are taken into account before recommendations are made.
